Melissa and her family moved from New Jersey to Charleston in 2016. She and her husband of 20 years have two children, a sixteen year old daughter and twelve year old son. While in New Jersey, she professional trained and rode horses. Upon moving to SC, she was trained and started as Dr. Horton's surgical veterinary technician and has been with the mobile hospital since it's opening in 2018. In her free time, she loves reading and playing with her dog, Sabre and her love bird, Sage.
Fallon is the Practice Manager at Charleston Mobile Animal Care, where she has been dedicated to providing compassionate care for pets in the comfort of their homes since July 2021. After earning her degree from Georgia Southern University in 2011, Fallon began her career managing two veterinary clinics in her college town, where she worked for several years. During this time, she was fortunate to be mentored by clinic owners and veterinarians who generously shared their knowledge of both veterinary medicine and the business side of running a successful practice. This invaluable experience not only shaped her professional journey but also inspired her to one day move to Charleston—a city she visited once on a field trip as a child.
As the daughter of an Army veteran, Fallon lived in various places around the world, but Charleston always held a special place in her heart. After her time in Statesboro, Georgia, she managed two additional clinics in the Charleston area before joining Charleston Mobile Animal Care. In her role, Fallon is committed to overseeing daily operations, ensuring that both clients and their pets feel fully supported and cared for throughout their experience with the practice.
Outside of work, Fallon enjoys the peaceful beauty of the Lowcountry, hiking in the mountains, and traveling to new places. She loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Shane, their new baby, Weston, their Vizsla, Gunner, and their cat, Farrah. The family cherishes the moments they share together, whether visiting loved ones or exploring the natural beauty around them.
