Charleston Mobile Animal Care is a mobile veterinary unit serving the animal care needs of the Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and Sullivan's Island areas of South Carolina. All of the treatment, care, and compassion you would expect from a brick and mortar veterinary clinic will be brought to your home, with less stress on your pet and you. Our mobile service is perfect for older people with difficulty traveling, geriatric pets that suffer stress when traveling, multiple pet households, and simply people with busy lives. Let our mobile veterinary unit bring the kindness and care to you!
Dr. Kellie Horton is our experienced veterinarian who will treat your pet just as she would her own. Dr. Horton utilizes both Western medicine as well as Eastern and alternative therapies for her patients, often integrating the two treatment regimens for her cases. Dr. Horton has a small animal focus at Charleston Mobile Animal Care but is also available for acupuncture sessions for equine patients and small farm animals.
Charleston Mobile Animal Care will offer a wide range of services including veterinary surgery and dental care, acupuncture and alternative medicinal treatments, dermatology testing and treatment for itchy pets, and short and long-term pain management. The equipment in our mobile unit is state-of-the-art and includes a complete bloodwork diagnostic laboratory, x-ray system, heartworm and intestinal parasite screening and testing, and an entire pharmacy so that your pet can begin treatment right away. Dr. Horton also offers her clients valuable training on issues such a nutritional and weight counseling, caring for your pet's teeth at home, and she will always work to help you understand the treatment and care she is providing your pet, to keep them by your side longer!
If your constant companion has older or has anxiety issues about traveling to the vet, let Charleston Mobile Animal Care come to you! Please call one of our caring team members to set an appointment and become a part of our pet family today.
Charleston Mobile Animal Care "CMAC" is on a mission to help and serve as many people through their pets as possible. We offer a unique combination of home-based integrative veterinary care, as well as servicing the veterinary needs of communities within the Low Country where care may not be readily available. Through CMAC, we hope to develop a non-profit sister philanthropy practicing and teaching veterinary medicine in Central America.
